The denominator is either a second response or a known exposure. Both predictors take shared or process-specific random effects, latent factors, intrinsic and proper conditional autoregressive fields (Besag, York and Mollie (1991) ), the scaled Besag-York-Mollie field of Riebler et al. (2016) , nearest-neighbour Gaussian processes (Datta et al. (2016) ), temporal random walks and autoregressions, Knorr-Held space-time interactions, and zero-inflated or hurdle numerators. The default sampler is the No-U-Turn sampler with hand-coded gradients; elliptical slice sampling, Polya-Gamma Gibbs sampling (Polson, Scott and Windle (2013) ) and a nested Laplace approximation fit the subsets of models they apply to, and every fit reports the tier of guarantee its inference carries. authors: - family-names: Colling given-names: Gilles email: gilles.colling051@gmail.com orcid: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3070-6066 repository: https://gcol33.r-universe.dev repository-code: https://github.com/gcol33/tulpaRatio commit: 692bde8e93805356589ec38390995217d769d5d2 url: https://gillescolling.com/tulpaRatio/ date-released: '2026-10-17' contact: - family-names: Colling given-names: Gilles email: gilles.colling051@gmail.com orcid: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3070-6066
